【摘要】:Thistestmethodcanbeusedtodeterminetheamountofamylnitratethathasbeenaddedtodieselfuelstoimprovecetanenumber.Thistestmethodisapplicableasabasisforjudgingcompliancewithspecificationscoveringamylnitrate.1.1Thistestmethodcoversthedeterminationof0.1to0.5volume%amylnitrateindieselfuels.1.2ThevaluesstatedinSIunitsaretoberegardedasthestandard.1.3Thisstandarddoesnotpurporttoaddressallofthesafetyconcerns,ifany,associatedwithitsuse.Itistheresponsibilityoftheuserofthisstandardtoestablishappropriatesafetyandhealthpracticesanddeterminetheapplicabilityofregulatorylimitationspriortouse.Note18212;Thistestmethodhasbeenusedforthedeterminationofhexylnitrateindieselfuels,buthasnotbeencooperativelytestedforsuchsamples.Forthedeterminationofhexylnitrate,usestandardscontainingnitrateestersofprimaryhexanol.Useadensityof0.97incalculatingresults.
