适用范围

本标准规定了缝纫线用涤纶短纤维的产品分类、技术要求、试验方法、检验规则和标志、包装、运输、贮存的要求。本标准适用于纤维在线密度1.22 dtex~1.50 dtex的范围内,圆形截面的缝纫线用超有光、有光和半消光等涤纶短纤维。其他类型的缝纫线用涤纶短纤维可以参照使用。

【摘要】:Thepurposeofthispracticeistodescribeaprocedureforin-line-eddy-currentexaminationofhotcylindricalbarsintherangeofdiameterslistedin1.2forlargeandrepetitivediscontinuitiesthatmayformduringprocessing.Thediscontinuitiesinbarproductcapableofbeingdetectedbytheelectromagneticmethodarelistedin1.3.1.Themethodiscapableofdetectingsurfaceandsomesubsurfacediscontinuitiesthataretypicallyintheorderof0.030in.[0.75mm]anddeeper,butsomeshallowerdiscontinuitiesmightalsobefound.Discontinuitiesthatarenarrowanddeep,butshortinlength,arereadilydetectablebybothprobeandencirclingcoilsbecausetheycauseabruptfluxchanges.Surfaceandsubsurfacediscontinuities(iftheelectromagneticfrequencyprovidessufficienteffectivedepthofpenetration)canbedetectedbythismethod.5.3.1Discontinuitiessuchasscratchesorseamsthatarecontinuousanduniformforthefulllengthofcutlengthbarsorextendforextensivelineardistancesincoiledproductmaynotalwaysbedetectedwhenencirclingcoilsareused.Thesearemoredetectablewithprobecoilsbyinterceptingthediscontinuityintheirrotationaroundthecircumference.5.3.2Theorientationandtypeofcoilareimportantparametersincoildesignbecausetheyinfluencethedetectabilityofdiscontinuities.Theeddycurrentmethodissensitivetometallurgicalvariationsthatoccurasaresultofprocessing,thusallreceivedsignalsabovethealarmlevelarenotnecessarilyindicativeofdefectiveproduct.1.1Thispracticecoversproceduresforeddy-currentexaminationofhotferromagneticbarsabovetheCurietemperaturewheretheproductisessentiallynonmagnetic,butbelow2100F[1149C].1.2Thispracticeisintendedforuseonbarproductshavingdiametersof1/2in.[12.7mm]to8in.[203mm]atlinearthroughputspeedsupto1200ft/min[366m/min].Largerorsmallerdiametersmaybeexaminedbyagreementbetweentheusingparties.1.3Thepurposeofthispracticeistoprovideaprocedureforin-lineeddy-currentexaminationofbarsduringprocessingforthedetectionofmajororgrosssurfacediscontinuities.1.3.1Thetypesofdiscontinuitiescapableofbeingdetectedarecommonlyreferredtoas:slivers,laps,seams,roll-ins(scale,dross,andsoforth),andmechanicaldamagesuchasscratches,scores,orindentations.1.4Thispracticedoesnotestablishacceptancecriteria.Theymustbespecifiedbyagreementbetweentheusingparties.1.5Thispracticedoesnotpurporttoaddressallofthesafetyconcerns,ifany,associatedwithitsuse.Itistheresponsibilityoftheuserofthispracticetoestablishappropriatesafetyandhealthpracticesanddeterminetheapplicabilityofregulatorylimitationspriortouse.
